Art Shop!
Hey, everyone! Long time no post, eh? I promise, we've been up to things! :D I'm starting my FOURTH semester of school (WOW! It's so hard to believe!) and Marko of MarkoHeadArt! (markohead.blogspot.com) and I are opening a store offering a TON of things! I'm custom making scarves, hats, jewelry, etc. We're both gonna start making pouches for small animals and bags, purses, etc! We've got SO much coming that it's kinda overwhelming!! We'll be getting things slowly added, so if you don't see something you like now, check back later! I'll post the link AS SOON as we've got the store up and running. Hopefully it'll be in the next few days!

I'm Not Dead....Promise!
Hey, guys! I swear...I'm not dead! I've just been busy with break...and, honestly, I'm just lazy. I won't even lie.
On the up side, I'm about a week away from starting my fourth semester as an Art Education major! I've got plenty of art classes in the line up (Drawing II, Design II, and Sculpture I) so I'll have plenty of photos and stuff for you to rip apart!! LOL.
I also want to put some photos of art that I did last semester up. I found my camera cord!!! After that, I had to buy a new charger because I lost THAT, too!
Anyway...a HUGE thanks to Marko for really pushing me to do art. I'd pretty much given up on doing any art for fun. He's inspired me so much and I thank him again for that.
Mark and I've had a few new additions.

And THEY'VE had some additions of their own. ;)

Anyway! Peace and Love in the New Year! Photos of art and stuff coming soon!!

Ugh..
I've hit such a dead spot, artistically. I don't feel like doing ANYTHING. It might be because it's the end of the semester...or change in medication...but I'm TIRED. Constantly. If I could only be awake to pee and eat, I think I'd be fine. My rats might hate me for that, but, eh....I think I'll try to get up the notion to paint Mousey tonight. Not Mousey himself...a photo of him. LOL. I didn't get that sketching done last night...I know. I feel awful about it...only not really. I want to do it tonight. Maybe...maybe.
Anyway...here's my final in Digital skills. We had to make a "companion piece" to a photograph using words. I took this photo of a butterfly in a field near here. It was kinda a spur-of-the-moment thing. I didn't have a photo to use and this one was pretty. Wahlah!
This is just both of my layers showing...I thought it looked too cool not to share. I'm not turning it in because...well....we can't. :]
Enjoy! Maybe I'll have a painting of Mousey up tonight!

Scary Project...
I'm going to do something. For one hour today, I'm going to sketch, sketch, sketch. After that hour, I'm going to put photos of my sketchbook on here...good or bad. Keep in mind that I don't draw. At all. I'm not good at drawing and I almost scream at the thought of someone seeing my drawings. So...the purpose of this is to break out a little....and not have a heart attack in the process. Please....don't be too harsh, lol. I'll have this up tonight! In the mean time, here's some photos of my new additions. :D

I Wanna Hold Your Haaaaannndddd!

Here's an OLD photo of my VERY first painting. It reminds me how much work pays off. Since this photo was taken, I've fixed the rabbit ears, put black outlines around the beams at the top, and fixed the hands. I'd like to try something else like this, but I've fallen into this antique/natural mode lately and there's no longer a place for bright colors. LOL. Maybe I'll get back into that phase.

Need New Direction?
My friend over at Illustration for Kids has a GREAT idea for how to get organized!! I'll be using this with the beginning of the new year!

Digital Skills and Laundry
I'm doing laundry! To make it a bit more fun, here's what I've been doing all semester in Digital Skills! Feedback appreciated!
First up: self portrait in Illustrator!
Face shot:

And full body shot!

Next, we had to find three objects: one elongated, one organic, and....one other of our choice.
My three were a dried up frog that I found outside (I know...it's gross. He's still in my car...and this was at the beginning of the semester. :D ), an antique video camera, and an antique hairbrush.

.jpg)
We did studies with these drawings. Here're some of my favorite ones. :]

That's all I feel like putting up. If you want to see more, I'm more than happy to show!!
